It's 3 day continuous online course.

Day 1: (8:30am to 9:00am PST)

There will be time for breaks and Q&A throughout the day, as well as a lunch break.

  • Pressure Injuries

  • Venous Ulcers

  • Arterial Ulcers

  • Diabetic Ulcers

  • Dressings/Support Surfaces

  • KTU's and Skin Tears

  • Debridement

  • Surgical Alternatives

  • Nutrition

  • G-Tube and Ostomy Management

This course is a live course, meaning that there will be an instructor present teaching at the course. You must be present during the course.

To register for the course, you will need to fill out the registration form and pay at the time of registration. To take the course, you will need to be present at the course for all three days. Attendance will be taken for each lesson.

Any licensed nurse (LVN, LPN, or RN) in the United States can register for the course and take the exam.

There will be a maximum of 22 CEUs given for the course. You must be present for every lecture (attendance will be taken) and answer 100% of the questions in every lecture to receive the appropriate number of CEUs for that lecture. The CEUs are given by the California Board of Registered Nursing and are valid for nurses in all 50 states.

Any licensed nurse (LVN, LPN, or RN) in the United States can attend the course.

You do not get a certification for taking the SWOC course. The certification is achieved by taking and passing the SWOC certification exam.

The live course will be taught by Michelle Vazqueztell, BSN, RN, MS-BC, our Corporate Nurse Educator. Michelle has over 12 years of experience in nursing and teaching nurses.

This course does not make you a wound care or treatment nurse. The course will teach you a lot of the knowledge that is needed to be a successful wound care or treatment nurse, and the certification will also make you standout. However, you will need to apply for such positions.
